Why is a screw filler better for ground coffee than a vibration scale?
Ground coffee, especially fine grinds like Turkish coffee, tends to "clump" and create dust. A screw (auger) filler physically moves the product through a tube, preventing clumping and dramatically reducing airborne dust, which ensures much higher accuracy and a cleaner workspace.
Can I use this for whole beans as well?
Screw fillers are specifically designed for powders and granules. For whole beans, we recommend our Automatic Scale 1500g or 3000g, which uses vibration to protect the beans from being crushed.
