NextLevel Pulsar Mini - Stainless Steel Filter Discs
Description:
NextLevel Pulsar Mini | Stainless Steel Filter Discs
The NextLevel Pulsar Mini Stainless Steel Filter Discs are a reusable alternative to paper filters, designed specifically for the NextLevel Pulsar Mini Brewer. Each set includes two stainless steel discs, each featuring a 25,000-hole pattern that helps filter out most sediment while allowing more coffee oils to pass through. The result is a cup that combines the clarity of filtered brewing with the richer texture often associated with metal filtration.
Metal Filtration for Pulsar Mini
Compared with paper filters, stainless steel discs allow more coffee oils to remain in the final brew, creating a fuller mouthfeel and a more textured cup. At the same time, the fine hole pattern helps reduce sediment, making them a practical choice for brewers who want a reusable filter without giving up cup cleanliness.

About NextLevel
NextLevel was inspired by discussions around bypass in traditional cone drippers and pour-over brewing, including Jonathan Gagné’s research-focused writing on the subject. Coffee roasters and tinkerers Darren Schmidt and Richard Unruh began exploring a zero-bypass brewing concept that later evolved with engineer Brandon Schmidt into the LVL-10 Brewer.
With further input from Jonathan Gagné, NextLevel continued developing the concept and created the versatile Pulsar Dripper. The brand focuses on brewers that provide high control over flow, contact time and extraction - helping coffee lovers brew with greater repeatability and precision.
