Sustainable Air Purification: PureFlow 400

The PureFlow 400 is a next-generation electric catalytic afterburner designed for roasteries that prioritize environmental responsibility and operational simplicity. Built for roasters up to 12-15 kg capacity, it utilizes a sophisticated catalytic matrix to neutralize pollutants at lower temperatures. By recycling exhaust heat to maintain its operating state, it offers a predictable and cost-effective alternative to traditional gas thermal oxidizers.

Smart Catalytic Technology

Advanced Filtration

Targets smoke particles and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), ensuring your roastery stays compliant with local air quality regulations.

Intelligent Automation

Features automatic pre-heating and cooling cycles. The system manages temperature and airflow autonomously for stable, hands-free performance.

Low Operational Costs

With an average consumption of just 5 kWh, the PureFlow 400 provides professional air cleaning with minimal impact on your monthly utility bills.

Custom Integration

Equipped with NW 200 flanged connections. Custom inlets and outlets are available to ensure seamless integration into any roastery layout.

System Performance & Design Architecture

Key Features & Core Components

  • Plug & Play with Stronghold: Comes equipped with a ready-to-use 100 mm connection, allowing direct hookup to S8X and S9X roasters with zero modifications needed.
  • Inlet Pre-filter: The first line of defense that stops stray chaff particles before they can reach the main catalytic setup, shielding the blocks and extending their operational lifetime.
  • Efficient Heating Block: Exhaust gas is heated to ~250°C. This is significantly lower than traditional gas afterburners (700–800°C), made possible by the integrated catalyst system.
  • Catalytic Blocks: The heart of the machine. It cleanly converts smoke, exhaust fumes, and VOCs into water vapor and carbon dioxide, leaving no harmful emissions outside.
  • Electronic PID Controller: Provides ultra-precise heater temperature monitoring. By preventing unnecessary over-heating, it delivers tangible monthly power savings.
  • Total Silence: Operates with zero noise, offering an essential advantage for urban coffee shops or shared commercial buildings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a catalytic afterburner better for small roasteries?

Traditional afterburners require massive amounts of gas to burn smoke at 700-800°C. The PureFlow 400 uses a catalyst to achieve the same result at just 400°C (with internal heating elements running at ~250°C) using only electricity, making it safer, cheaper to run, and easier to install in urban areas.

Is any maintenance required for the catalytic matrix?

The system is designed for low maintenance. The unit features a dedicated inlet pre-filter to catch fine chaff particles before they touch the catalyst. We still recommend keeping your roaster's primary chaff collector clean to maximize the total performance and lifespan of the internal catalytic blocks.
