JE-PLUS is a hand coffee grinder by 1Zpresso. It is a perfect solution for experienced coffee lovers, wo are looking for an espresso ginder that can also handle pour-over brewing methods.
It features a large 47mm stainless steel burr, a convenient grind adjustment with easy access and magnetic grounds container compatible with portafilters.
Burr and grinding
JE-PLUS is equipped with 47mm conical, Itamill coated stainless steel burrs and a double bearing - all that provides precise grinding and proper stabilisation. The coarseness is adjusted with a dial situated above the burr, which makes setting quick and easy. The dial is divided into 10 numbers with additional points inbetween, which altogether makes 40 steps per full rotation. Each step differs by 0.0125mm.
The capacity of the grounds container is 30-35 grams, which allows you to grind a perfect amount of coffee for several people at a time. It is easily attached with a magnet. The coffee grounds can be relaeased through the hole at its bottom - it fits 51mm and 58mm portafilters.
Design
1Zpresso is solid and made of high-quality materials. Aluminium alloy body is sleek and durable. The inner parts and the handle are made of stainless steel. Additionally, the handle knob is made of elegant wood. The size makes it a great grinder for home use - its height is 18 cm, diameter 6.2 cm and weight 840 grams. A carrying case is included.
Use
1zpresso JE-PLUS is recommended especially for espresso, however, it can also hanlde grinding for pour-over brewing methods. Therefore, it is perfect for Turkish coffee, espresso, AeroPress, moka pots, drippers, Chemex, syphon, filter coffee machines, French Presses, and cold brew.
The grinder is easy to disassemble and clean (brush is included).
